Wayfinding Re-Design

The zoo map, kept simple and easy to read for all age groups. We divided the zoo into 4 sections to create a very distinctive system that was easy to follow and understand, no matter what language you speak.
The information signs that would be displayed at the animals enclosures. These were kept simple and made interactive so children would be more inclined to learn about the animals themselves.
Using the animals feet we created a system that would guide visitors around the zoo, this would be something that children could interact with as they go between different exhibits.
The map stands out and is easy to read from a distance.
Here you can see how the feet would be employed on the ground of the pathways. These guide visitors between the four sections of the zoo.
